Biografi
Carlos Piñana Conesa blev født i Cartagena (Murcia) i 1976. Han er søn af Antonio Piñana, også en guitarist, og barnebarn af den berømte flamencosanger fra Levante af samme navn. Carlos begyndte først at lære klassisk guitar på Cartagena Musikkonservatorium i 1996. Han besluttede sig dog for at fokusere på flamenco og blev undervist af Manolo Sanlúcar, Rafael Riqueni og Enrique de Melchor. Han har vundet Bordón Minero-prisen i La Unión i 1996 og Ramón Montoya-prisen ved Cordoba National Contest i 1998.

Han komponerede, instruerede og fremførte også musikken til danseshowene "Póker Flamenco", "A Tiempo de Fuego", "A Compás del Poeta", "Penélope" og "El Celoso Extremeño" for Carmen og Matilde Rubio Ballet. komponerede også musikken til "Romeo y Julieta" for Compañía Murciana de Danza og deltog i dokumentarfilmen "El Proceso Creativo" instrueret af Miguel Peñalver.

Carlos first started to learn classical guitar at the Cartagena Music Conservatory in 1996. However, he decided to focus on flamenco and was taught by Manolo Sanlúcar, Rafael Riqueni and Enrique de Melchor He has won the Bordón Minero award in La Unión in 1996 and the Ramón Montoya award at the Cordoba National Contest in 1998.

He released seven records as a soloist: “El cuidado de una esencia” (1996) in which pays heartfelt homage to the figure of his grandfather, "Cal-líbiri“ (1999), “Palosanto” (2001), “Mundos Flamencos” (2003), “Manos Libres” (2011), “Body & Soul” (2013) and “De la raíz al alma” (2015).
